George S. Helwig, 80, of St. Clair Shores, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 in St. Clair Shores. He was born March 23, 1932, in Detroit. Mr. Helwig was retired from Ford as an electrician and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Beloved companion of Phylis Wood. Loving father of Stephen (Nora) Helwig and Kathryn Helwig. Dearest grandfather of Kelsey and Sydney. Dear brother of Janice Peters and Leroy (Nancy) Helwig. He was predeceased by his wife Mary and sister Vivian Kukuk. Visitation Monday 3-9 pm and Tuesday 9 to noon at Kaul Funeral Home, St. Clair Shores. Funeral service Tuesday 1 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 30205, Jefferson, St. Clair Shores.
