Gerald D. Byrne, 76 of Harper Woods passed away January 21, 2019. He is survived by his best friend of 33 years, Peggy Noonan, his sons Damon, Paul, many nieces, nephews and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, William, Roderick, and his sister Patricia. Uncle Jerry will be fondly remembered by Peggy’s children and grandchildren. He was a true Irishman including the traditional sense of humor. Jerry was a thoughtful man always available to lend an ear or hand to others. He and Peggy loved viewing nature in the Tawas area, seeing eagles and ospreys on the Au Sable River. Jerry loved to gaze at the heavens with his telescopes, sometimes waking early in the morning to share the skies with his family.
