Gerald Nickolas Thorngate was born on August 1, 1963, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. He passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 62. Gerald was a resident of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan.

Gerald was born to parents Thomas and Dianne Thorngate. Loving brother to Kathleen (Joseph) Schultz, Thomas Thorngate, Paul (Alicia) Thorngate and the late Peter Thorngate. Cherished uncle to 10 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and nephews and 1 great great niece. Gerald will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February, 6, 2026, beginning with a gathering from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with a service at 6:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 4881.

Memorial donations in memory of Gerald are suggested to the: Breast Cancer Society.
