Gordon served 20 years in the United States Air Force he retired as a meteorologist and then began his career with the United States Post office. He married the love of his life Dawn on March 18, 1987. They then began their family adding their daughter Jennica. He loved raising his daughter, his best friend and twin. Gordon lived his life to provide for his family, to make beautiful memories, and to be able to travel around the world and the United States.
After Jennica was married, he was blessed with his son in law David and even more blessed with his dear grandson Caleb. He enjoyed that he was able to be so close to his grandson and they did many things together.
Gordon enjoyed music and going to concerts, traveling, hanging out in the backyard with his beloved family, cooking, taking care of others, playing video games, and watching movies. He got a kick out of others’ annoyances or bad luck, and enjoyed laughing at movies and tv shows.
Gordon is survived by his beloved wife Dawn; loving daughter Jennica (David) Agnello; dear grandson Caleb; and his puppy Remington Red. He is also survived by his siblings: Deborah Davis, Catherine, Maggie, and Nancy.
Gordon would like to be remembered as the strong warrior he was. He was the worlds greatest father and grandparent. He would want everyone to know that he was courageous, brave, supportive, and filled with an immense amount of love. Don’t forget he loved rock n roll and being able to make people smile. Finally remember him in good health and happiness and know that he is no longer in pain and suffering but he is at peace.
A memorial visitation will be held in his honor on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 5:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
