Gordon "Gordy" Charles Janisse

Gordon C. Janisse, age 74, passed away on July 25, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to his late parents Wilfred and Ann Janisse. Gordy is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sandra; son: Dave; siblings: Janice (Norman Krol) Rose, the late Marlene; nephews and niece: Matthew (Karla) Rose, Penny (Jeff) Lamiman, Bill “Wilfred”; and dog: Josette. Also left to cherish his memory are many loving family members of the Wroblewski family. Gordy had a heart of gold, was a man of integrity, was hardworking, and always put everyone before himself. He loved his family immensely. In his younger years, Gordy enjoyed being a youth director at his church. He was an avid sports fan, especially loving the Lions, Red Wings, and Tigers. Visitation, Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. All are welcome to come to a luncheon after the service at Gordy and Sandra’s house.
