John was born on April 8, 1932, in Detroit, Michigan, to Harriet and John Schulz. He met the love of his life, Betty Lorenz, and they married on March 26, 1960 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. They raised a family there and loved each other until her death in 1995. He was a good father who always took care of his children and did the best he could to teach and guide them, and a proud grandfather to his three cherished granddaughters. John was a strong, proud, and good man. He is loved and will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Schulz, and parents John and Harriet. He is survived by loving children, Caroline Cameron, Bonnie Schulz, and John Schulz (Jodi), granddaughters Madelyn Schulz, Emma Schulz, and Audrey Schulz, and his cousin, Edward Schulz.
Visitation for John will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 beginning with a gathering at 8:30 am until time of service at 9:30 am, at Kaul Funeral Home.
Military honors will commence following the services at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at 11:00 am, at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, Michigan 48098.
