Joseph Cyril Calus, age 88 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on January 19, 2020. He was born on April 3, 1931, to the proud parents of Cyril and Alexa Calus. Joseph is the loving husband of Angeline M. Calus for 69 years and together they raised 4 children. He is survived by his beloved children Joseph (Barbara) Calus, Nancy (John) Stopczy, Linda Carlton, and Kelly (Jim) Shanley. Joseph is the cherished grandfather of Kristin (Ali) Bazzi, Anthony Carlton, Tracie (Josh) Giacona, Melissa (Troy) Simpson, Jimmy Shanley, Ryan Shanley, Luke Shanley, and Lily Shanley. He is great-grandfather to Sami, Ella, Sophia, Olivia, Amir, Dominic, Owen, Raylin, and Javen. Joseph is the dear brother to Ed Calus and Lena Sorgeloos. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020, beginning with a gathering at 11:30 am until time of Mass at 12:00 Noon, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 22412 Overlake Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080. Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
