Lauren Patricia O'Meara

Lauren Patricia O’Meara, age 71, passed away on May 4, 2024. She was born on September 3, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to her late parents Barbara and Walter Sample. Lauren is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Dennis and dear son: Michael (Blair). She was also preceded in death by her loving son Matthew. Lauren devoted herself to advocating and working towards preserving special education programs and supporting parents. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend and was a selfless person always willing to help others. Lauren enjoyed volunteering with numerous organizations.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to the Capuchins on the Rise Bakery, K-9 Stray Rescue League, or St. Patrick Senior Center.

Visitation, Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral service, Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
