Lee Alan Schaeffer Sr.

Lee is the beloved husband of 64 years to the late Caroline Theresa Schaeffer. Loving father to Diane (Kenneth) Peck, Jack (Laura) Schaeffer, and Lee (Nancy) Schaeffer. Cherished grandfather to Jackie Schaeffer, Michael Schaeffer, Courtney (Fiancé Joey Bartolotta) Gazdick, Brooke Gazdick, Joe Schaeffer, and Ryan Schaeffer. Dear great-grandfather to Vincent Bartolotta. Lee is the dear brother to Peter (Dolly) Cataldo, Bill (Karen) Cataldo, and Mary Cataldo. Lee will be missed by all those who loved him.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, beginning with a gathering at 9:00 am until time of mass at 10:00 am, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 22412 Overlake Street, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48080.

Memorial donations in memory of Lee are suggested to: St. Jude.

His final resting place will be Resurrection Cemetery, in Clinton Township, Michigan.
