Liza Kendrick, age 93 passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Liza was born October 27, 1928 in Pikeville, Kentucky, to the proud parents Owen and Pearlie Slone. Liza was the beloved wife to the late Ocil Kendrick. She is the loving mother to Lisa (Bruce) Hobart, Grace (Rich Evans) Kendrick, and the late Deborah DeFour. Liza is the cherished grandmother to David Scott DeFour and the late Debralee Rose DeFour. She is the dear mother in law to Dave DeFour.
Liza was preceded in death by her brothers Mitchell, Dan, Clearance, David, Benny and sisters Florence, Sophia, Nancy and Mercy. Liza was a resident of St Clair Shores for 55 years yet she still had a southern accent. Liza loved to cook, bake, sew and make quilts, she enjoyed gardening and canning her own vegetables. Liza was a Christian, she read the bible daily.
Liza will be missed by many family and friends.
