

Marlene A. Campbell, age 61, was born October 14, 1954. She was the fifth and middle child in her family. She was the go-to baby sitter and a prominent presence in all the lives of her many nieces and nephews. She was the host for the annual Christmas gathering of her immediate family. She was also well-known for her ability to reach out to extended family; she embraced Texas and gave herself the nickname “Little Tex”. She also loved her friends at the senior center and involved herself in the activities there.
She was a unique individual, who loved the color orange and was known for her passion for old TV westerns. She recently came into her own as a writer of Lancer Fan Fiction in the online community. She will be remembered too for her comforts; her cat, her tea and her oatmeal.
She was very beloved and will be missed for all the vibrancy and love she brought to her family and extended family. She is survived by brothers and sisters; Cal (Elaine), Martha (Larry), Cliff (Adriana), Molly, Chris (Mary) and Craig. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Caren, Cheryl, Kyle, Ryan, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Emily, Justin, Colin, Tiffany and Chad as well as great niece Kiera, and great nephews Tyler, Odin and Zach Junior.
