Michael Allen Brace Sr.

Mike is survived by his mother, Shirley “Shae” Adkins; his three children, Jenny (Steve Howard), Michael (Karen) and Matthew; his brothers, Mark and Marty; his nieces Allison and Jillian and his grandchildren, Jessi, Sami, Anna, Brianna, Caitlin and Aja. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond and brother Kevin.

Mike was born on June 27, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. He went to high school at Denby (1968) and spent a short time serving in the United States Marine Corp. He continued on to pursue a career in Engineering focusing mostly in the automotive industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and always had a roll of pictures he couldn't wait to share after a visit. It was always important to him to keep physically active. On warm enough days you could see him roller blading through Metro Park and of course, taking pictures while he was at it. He spent a lot of time tinkering with computers. If he wasn’t finding new programs to download he was fixing someone else's computer. Mike also took great joy in being able to reconnect with old friends he went to high school with. Above all, he just loved spending time with those he loved. Mike will be greatly missed by his family and never forgotten.

On December 27, 2017 an open house will be held at his daughters home at 48266 Menter St. Chesterfield, MI 48047 for all who would like to come share in this time of remembrance.
