Mildred Esther Wonsch

Mildred Esther Wonsch, age 92, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Born on November 11, 1932, to parents James and Mildred Wonsch. Beloved wife of 71 years to the late Lawrence Leonard Wonsch. Loving mother to Gloria (Paul) Swick, Daniel Wonsch and the late Steven Wonsch. Cherished grandmother to Sean Wonsch and Ashlee Wonsch. Great-Grandmother to Logan, Colton and Joslynn Millie Jo. Dear sister to James (the late Barbara) McDevitt. Mildred was preceded in death by her siblings Mary E. McDevitt and John McDevitt. Mildred will be missed by many family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (Instate 9:30 a.m.) at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 23401 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. A memorial luncheon will take place immediately following mass at Crank’s Restaurant and Banquets on the Green, 22185 Masonic, St. Clair Shores.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capuchin Retreat, 62460 Mt Vernon Rd., Washington, MI 48094.
