With my deepest sympathy to the family, I just heard about the passing of Dad,  I am praying that you are doing well in this difficult time.

I’m sorry to hear of Paul passing. He was a nice man and a good friend to my father. I fondly recall all of the St Philomena softball games when I was young. I also got to work with Paul pouring concrete with my dad. I’m glad that I got to see him recently at my father’s memorial. Best wishes to his family.

On behalf of the Capuchin friars, I offer condolences to the family and friends of Paul Krjnovic. I pray that Paul may rest in peace, and that God's mercy may console all those who mourn his death.  We are truly grateful for all memorial donations made in Paul's memory. He and Irene are long-time supporters of the Capuchins for nearly 40 years. The Lord give you peace.

88 years old.   Paul got up @ 430a.   packed a 40 lb sack.    grabbed his bow and quiver.   gulped a cup of coffee and headed out into the great Huron National forest 1-2 miles from camp, alone, and spent 6 hours from dark to 11:30 a.m., and 6 hours from 12:30 p.m. to dark, deer hunting.
          I took a picture as he headed back out to his blind.   
          That first night, I expected everyone would be in camp 20 minutes after dark.  After an hour, I gathered a few essentials and made my way to the trailhead.    Anything could have happened.
          I was right.   "Anything" did happen.   Paul had hunted hard all day long and strolled back to camp taking in all the nighttime forest.
          He did this routine for 4 days and then made his way to Mio to hunt with friends and family for another 4 or 5 days, this time with a rifle.
          Strong, smart, man of faith, dedicated to family.    Hunter, outdoorsman, scuba diver, golfer and 100 other labels including a veteran of the Korean War Era.
          I'm proud and honored to have called him my friend.

Paul and Irene came into our world when my son, Nolan, married their granddaughter, Lauren. They immediately made us feel like an extension of their family, and we have loved the times together through the years. We will miss his 'flubbering' and his easy laugh.
Sending strength & love to Irene, their legacy of love rippling out to a third generation, and all the wonderful people that are lucky enough to know them.

Tom was an amazing man.  He first came into my life 70 years ago when he started dating my sister Irene.  He always had a smile and genuine glad to see you greeting.  He was a great brother, son, husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa.  A very good friend too many, always willing to help wherever he could.  We will miss he laugh, miss him terribly, he will never be replaced in our hearts.
