Rose and Gaspare Zerilli

Rose Zerilli (nee Lucido), age 94, a long-time resident of St. Clair Shores, passed away on May 27th, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Gaspare. Mrs. Zerilli was born in Detroit on July 25th, 1918 to Jack and Virginia Lucido. Sister of the late Sam, Buster, Jim and Angie.

Gaspare Zerilli, age 96, passed away on April 21st, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Rose (Lucido). Mr. Zerilli was born in St. Louis, MO on July 19th, 1916 to Joseph and Catherine Zerilli. Brother of the late Nick, Louie, Grace, Rose, Lena, Josie and Katie. Survived by brothers Marion (Edith) and Joseph. Mr. Zerilli was the owner of several area businesses over the years, including the “Q ‘n Rack Club” in St. Clair Shores.

United in marriage for 72 years, separated in death by only five weeks, Rose and Gaspare were the dear parents of Joe (JoAnne), Cathy (the late Joe) D’Agostini, Ginger (the late Mitch) Zerilli-Clark, Diane (Dave) Mallo, and Jackie (Patrick) Crawley. Loving grandparents of Gasper, Joe, Gary, Roseanne, Alan, Vince, Jim, Lisa, Raquel, David, Geno, Michael, Paul and Jack. Great grandparents of 20 and great-great grandparents of 2. Arrangements by Kaul Funeral Home. Funeral mass to be held on Monday, June 3rd, at 10 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Monastery, 1740 Mt. Elliott, Detroit, MI 48207. Instate at church at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 2nd, from 3 to 9 p.m., with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue at Martin Rd., St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
