Russ Rene` Freund Jr., age 69, a resident of Algonac passed away January 27th at McLaren Macomb in Mt. Clemens. He was born on September 29, 1944 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and cut hair at the Shores Barber Shop for 35 years. He is survived by his father Russell R., Sr., his siblings Linda (Gloria Ehrler), Sharon (the late Kenneth) Reifert, Rick (Jan) and Paul (Kathy). He was the uncle of Dion, Matthew and Kelsey. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty. Funeral Services will be held at 10am Saturday at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, Visitation Friday 3-9pm. Committal services with Military Honors will follow the service at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township.
