Ruth Marie Dell'Eva

Ruth Marie Dell’Eva, age 67, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on June 19, 2025. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to parents Asa and Rebbith Hylton. Beloved wife of 50 years to David R. Dell’Eva Sr. Loving mother to Sherri (Mike) Herubin, Catrina (Fiancé Mike Luedtke) Monaco, Jayson (Brenda) Essmyer, and the late David R. Dell’Eva Jr. Ruth is the grandmother to Robert Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Zachary Prazmo, Austin Monaco, Michael (Brooke) Herubin, Carter Monaco, Taylor Davis, Billy Davis, Lani Noy, Nikalaus Noy, Dylan Dell’Eva, Joshua Dalia, Josalyn Essmyer, Jayson Essmyer Jr. Great-Grandmother to Rosalynn Dosch. Cherished daughter-in-law to Richard (Rose) Dell’Eva and mother-in-law to Lisa Dell’Eva. Dear sister-in-law to Debbie (Kerry) Wojcik, Joseph (Becki) Dell’Eva, Michael (Ronda) Dell’Eva, and Denise Sahlaney. Ruth was preceded in death by her sister Karen Hylton and brother-in-law Stephen Dell’Eva. Ruth will be missed by all those who knew her.

Ruth was known for her immense love for family, her cats, all kinds of movies, music especially the Beatles, and her fondness for diamonds. Ruth loved to travel near and far. Some of their travels took them on explorations of shipwrecks. She was especially interested in the Titanic and its rich history, and a local favorite, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald here in Michigan.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, beginning with a gathering at 9:00 am, until time of service at 10:00 am, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery following the service.
