Ruth Anne Gallop, 67, lifelong resident of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away on December 17, 2022. She was born in Detroit in 1955 to Stephen and Patricia Gallop. Best sister ever to Steven (Sharron), Michael, Douglas (Melissa), Andrew (Meredy), and Amy. Beloved aunt to 12 nieces, nephews, grandnieces/nephew. She was a 1973 graduate of Lake Shore High School, and attended Macomb Community College. After working for 14 years as a pharmacy technician at Lafer Drugs in Fraser, MI, she went to work as a congressional aide for U.S. Congressman, David E. Bonior, for 16 years, and then later worked for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow for 14 years before retiring after 30 years of service. With her quick wit, humor, and beautiful blue eyes, Ruth was liked by everyone who met her. She enjoyed reading periodicals, museums, movies, Scrabble, and music—especially The Beatles. She is sorely missed by her family, friends, neighbors, former coworkers, and a heartbroken family dog, Peaches. Memorial services may be held at a later date.
Cremation services entrusted to Kaul Funeral Home, St. Clair Shores.
