Sharon Gerds Walczak passed on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
She was a much loved daughter, sister and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank W. Gerds (2006) and Veronica R Gerds (2014). She is survived by her beloved sons Matthew Walczak and Christopher Walczak (Beth), sister Linda Gerds Bartolino (Michael), brother Frank Gerds (Ann), brother Keith Gerds (Jaruwan), many nieces and nephews and her second family the Staff and Residents of Lakeland Center.
Sharon was a caring, compassionate woman determined to do things her way. She found in baking and cooking. Her greatest joy was the lovers of her life, her sons. Sharon would say she that although she didn't always get it right, she truly tried her best.
