Shirley Ann Dettloff, age 84, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Fraser Villa Supervised Residential Care Center in Fraser. She was born March 27, 1936 in Birmingham, Alabama, the youngest of 12. She married Alfred Dettloff Nov. 3, 1962 at St. Martin Catholic Church, Detroit. She enjoyed life, gardening and her many friends. During her working life, Mrs. Dettloff assisted in ticket sales at Comerica Park.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alfred and sons Tom (Cathy Zebrowski) Dettloff and James Dettloff.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Parish (St. Germaine), 28301 Little Mack Ave., St. Clair Shores. Inurnment will take place immediately following mass at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Rd., Clinton Twp. A luncheon will follow the inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery.
