Stuart Leland Sanderson, age 75, passed away on September 1, 2024. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on March 2, 1949, to his late parents, Lemuel and Betty Sanderson. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War, he returned home to MI, where he met his beloved wife, Donna. Sharing a love for music, cars, and art, they were each other's best friends, recently celebrating 53 loving years of marriage. Stuart worked at the Royal Oak Post Office for many years until his retirement. His passion was photography, having attended or participated in numerous exhibits at The Scarab Club. He was a foodie and enjoyed going to restaurants, the movies, and spending time with his adored granddaughter, Karly (Aaron), and great-granddaughter, Keira. He is survived by his daughter, Luv, grandson, Nycholas and great-grandson, Anton. He was known for his sarcasm, and you knew just how much he loved you when he wouldn't stop picking on you. He was a hard-working, caring, and honest man we will miss dearly.
