William "Bill" Lawrance

Bill died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill dealt with his illness the same way he lived his life, straight ahead and with remarkable spirit and humour. Bill enjoyed to travel, and had one final fall trip to his beloved home country of Scotland, and witnessed first hand a victory by his favourite team, Glasgow Rangers FC. Bill was preceded by the love of his life Alice, they were married for over 55 years. Bill and Alice immigrated from Scotland to Montreal in 1957, and shortly thereafter moved to Two Mountains, PQ. Bill threw himself into the Community that was home to his final day.Bill was one of founding members of the Two Mountains Soccer Club with a great group of friends. He was an active member of the Lake Youth Sports Association, and a long time Right Honourable Brother (33rd degree) of the Masonic Lodge. Bill will be missed immensely by his son Steven, daughter in law Mary, and Riley our Labrador Retriever, his best pal. As well his sisters Jean (John), Grace (Nat) and sister in laws Chrissy (late Ian) and Margaret (late James) and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Our Family would like to extend our appreciation to Dr Briere, the staff of the St Eustache Hospital, and the amazing staff and volunteers of Sercan Palliative Care home.

We will hold a Celebration of life for Bill on Saturday June 1st at 11:00 AM at Guay Funeral Home located at 146 Rue St Louis, St Eustache, PQ.514-871-2020
