Preceded in death by her husband, Wallace S. Wolfe, she is survived by her daughter, Marcia Sturm, and son-in-law, Fred Sturm.
Born in Centertown, Mo., Helen grew up in southwestern Missouri, and attended Southwest State Teachers College. After marrying Wallace, she moved to West Virginia, eventually settling in Lewisburg, where she spent most of her life.
In Lewisburg, Helen assisted her husband in his medical practice and enjoyed gardening, painting and reading.
In 1998, she moved to St. Helena to live with her daughter, Marcia. She made friends among her neighbors and enjoyed talking to them and sharing stories about her life.
A private memorial celebration is planned for the future.
