

Born in St. Helena, California on January 5, 1920 to Domonic and Emelia Rolleri. Passed away at the home in Calistoga on March 2, 2012. He is survived by his sister-in-law Mary Rolleri; neices Rose Beck, Kathy Brown, Margaret Fechter, Margaret Vinnedge (Ray)-LaCenter-Wa., Joan Carroll (Bobby)-St. Regis-Mt., Janet Geist (Kimitt)-York-Al., Georgia Stiefel (Paul)-Anchorage, Ak.; nephew David Termer (Minh)-Hurricane-WV; a first cousin Marge Bartelucci, a second cousin Bill Bartelucci and family, Ted Laurent Jr., and many other nieces and nephews.
Paul enjoyed football, hunting, and fishing. He graduated from San Rafael High School and went to Marin Jr. College. He worked at Mare Island from 1939 to 1941. When Pearl Harbor was bombed, Paul went and worked there to raise the ships and served his country for 32 months. He came back to California and went to Bremerton, Washington and joined the Navy. They sent him to Bainbridge Maryland for 9 months and he became a signalman. Then he went to the Philippines for the rest of his Navy service. He was a carpenter in Oakland for 35 years. He then worked for the Oakland School District for several more years.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Morrison Funeral Chapel (975 vintage Avenue in St. Helena) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Chapel followed by his burial at the St. Helena Cemetery. Military honors will be presented.
