We are so very sorry to hear of your Mum's passing. My parents send their deepest sympathies. Unfortunately, they did not hear until this week or they would have attended. We all have wonderful memories of your parents.

Aunt Carol was a warm, generous woman who will be missed. I have many fond memories of visiting her and Uncle Jean at the cottage in Vermont, and the big family dinners we would have. 

My condolences to her immediate family. We will miss her terribly. 

Our deepest sympathies to the family for the loss of Carol and Jean. A beautiful couple who were so very active in our church community, St. Francis of Assisi in St. Lambert.  They were so kind and always available to volunteer in so many ways.  Their memories will always be with us.  Love and prayers, Susan & Dan

When Carol:
     shared her Christmas cookies the season was perfect
     inserted the perfect  witticism in a conversation, you had to be alert
     left with Maria for their annual Chabanel romp, I applauded their resilience
     broke a limb at the same time, it was not the most inspired “togetherness”
There is too much to tell and too little space to tell it.
We shared children growing up and growing out of our homes and now we share our own departures to another beginning.

C’est avec tristesse que j’ai appris de décès de ta mère. Toujours accueillante, réservée, elle était enjouée et avait un franc parlé. 

J’si eu la chance de la côtoyer à quelques reprises et à chaque fois elle prenait le temps de d’apprendre quelques choses de moi ou mes enfants. Mes pensées sont avec toi et ra famille. 
Tes parents sont réunis et ils sont bien et surtout fier de toi, car tu es une personne qui prend soin des autres. C’est une fierté d’être ton ami.

We have many wonderful memories of Aunt Carol. A lot of those memories involve our annual trip to Vermont and spending some quality shopping and eating time together. Through that experience both Carol and Jean were able to watch our kids grow up and be part of our family history. We will miss her dearly.

Sorry for your loss, I remember your Mum welcoming me along with all the family. She was always checking everyone had eaten when we were at yours or the cottage. I remember a dinner at the cottage when she was up at 5am to start cooking. Precious memories with you all.

Carol....still difficult to realize that she is no longer with us. No words can express one's  grief. Yet SO many memories.....
Holidays spent together, Xmas on Boissy St., Easter brunches, Thanksgiving at the cottage in Swanton where it was a tradition she and Jean carried on after her Mom Bertha had passed. Paul and I always spent New Year's Eve together ,many also in Vt where Carol would always make a delicious cake for her brother's birthday. She was a great baker !
She was passionate about  bridge, and shopping ! I always told her that instead of being a nurse she should have been a personal shopper ! The shopping  led to her being always  in style and very chic.
Carol will be missed by many.....and her absence will be felt.

Carol was my mothers' sister, my aunt, my godmother and a large part of my younger years.  We spent most Sunday dinners, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and summers together.  At seven years old, I was the flower girl at her wedding.  At eleven I got my first live doll (Marc) and later Dan to mother and play with.  Over the years, I spent many weekends, summers and holidays together with the Gariepy family.  I will always cherish all our family adventures and remember both Uncle Jean and Aunt Carol in my heart.  Every year in July, I will be reminded of our birthdays together.

So many memories at the cottage in Vermont flood my mind when I think of Aunt Carol. I can picture her smiling with a glass of wine while chatting with my Grandma or cooking up a delicious meal in the kitchen.  She always commented on my fashion choices because she knew I took pride in changing my outfits 5+ times a day. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends, but it brings me joy to know she’ll be joining Uncle Jean and all her siblings on the other side. 

Our deepest sympathies Marc , Danny and families. Carol was always a willing participant in family gatherings and so generous with her help. Will always remember her joy eating a lobster, especially at her 80th birthday party! So much love!

I have such pleasant memories of being a child and hearing her banter and laugh with Anne and the rest of the family. She had such a memorable voice and laugh, full of merriment. Wish I could have spent more time with both her and Jean in my adult life.
