Dawn was born on January 13, 1930 in Christchurch, NZ.
Dawn leaves behind her children, Stephen, Daniel, Graeme, Martin and Tracey, her grandchildren: Philip, Jennifer, Scott, Chad, Kirk, Maddison and Mackenzie, along with her great-grandchildren Ethan and Nicola.
In her early twenties she wanted to travel. She first landed in England, where she found employment to fund further endeavors. She later boarded a ship bound for Montreal. Once in Montreal she found a job at Sherwin-Williams where she met John Ross. The two fell in love, married, and started a family in St-Hubert, QC. Sometime in the late 1980's Dawn and her husband moved to Dunedin, NZ. They remained there for a couple years until they realized they missed their family back in Canada and decided to move to Victoria, BC. After losing her husband John in Montreal in 1994 she sold and packed up everything and moved to Chateauguay, where she remained until the end.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
