She is predeceased by her first husband Steve Bayus and her beloved husband of 43 years Allan Schofield, as well as her precious grandson Sean. Following Doreen’s retirement she remained very active in many community charities as well as social activities in Saint Lambert. She had a special comforting and welcoming engagement with people that has endeared her to so many and created a wide reach of lasting friendships. As well as raising her three devoted sons Steven Bayus (Karen Pedersen), Ross Bayus (Angie Pietrantonio) and Gregory Bayus (Rita Barrafato) she was also very proud of her daughters-in-law. She shared great love and caring with her seven grandchildren, Sean, Erin (John Marc), Christian, Alexander (Sabrina), Daniel, Olivia (Evan) and William; and her 6 adoring great-grandchildren, Bedwen, Jovian, Adrian, Leila, Julian, and Lando. Doreen (aka GrandmaDo) has left us a special family legacy and we will miss her very much. She will be cherished and remembered always.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, March 6 from 2 pm to 5 pm, and from 7 pm to 9 pm at:
