He was born in Pointe St. Charles on June 30, 1947. Son of Stanley and Ann Jane (Jennie) McLarnon. Since the late 1950’s, Greenfield Park has been his home.
Gary leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years, Jane Watson, his brother-in-law John Watson, his sister- in-law Susan Watson and many cousins and friends.
Gary loved music, sports and animals, especially his dog Bailey. He was an accomplished golfer, and in his younger days was a talented softball player. He was a founding member of the Mike Reid Memorial Softball Tournament, the proceeds of which support Montreal’s MacKay Centre School.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and care-giving staff at Charles-Le Moyne. Their kindness and compassion during Gary’s visits to the hospital were greatly appreciated.
