Maria Rosaria Spina

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Dedicated and beloved wife to Jean Charland, devoted mother of Marie-Eve (Pompeo), Katia (Don) and JF (Leslie) and loving grandmother of Alexandra, Chiara, Bianca, Maddie and Nora. She is survived by siblings Giacinto, Antonio and Sandra. A psychologist by profession, she will be remembered for her piercing intellect, her keen sense of justice, her love of science, literature, music and the arts as well asher strongcommitment to family and friends. Born in Bojano, Italy, she actively participated in the Associazione della Famiglia Bojanese community in Montreal. She will be missed by family, friends and the many people she touched through her psychology and consulting practices. Many thanks are extended to the staff at La Maison Victor-Gadbois, to Dr Catherine Sperlich, Dr Chantal Mena, Chantal Courtemanche and the staff from the Oncology and Palliative Care departments of the Charles LeMoyne hospital. Visitation will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 307 Riverside Drive, St-Lambert on Friday, March 10 from 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11 at 11 am at Paroisse Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, 311 Saint-Thomas, St-Lambert. The burial will be held at a later date.
