1928-2013
Bob passed away peacefully on July 12, 2013 at age 84. He will be sadly missed by his beloved and devoted wife of 58 years, Margaret (nee Newman) of Brossard, and cherished daughter Nancy (MacGregor), son-in-law Jason Bates and granddaughter Emily Bates of Burlington, Vermont. He also leaves behind his sister Rona Lines and brother-in-law William Lines of Pickering, Ontario, sister-in-law Susan Morrow and brother-in-law Robert Morrow of Greenfield Park, and sister-in-law Joan Newman of Brossard, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Roderick and Julia MacGregor, and brother-in-law Denver Newman.
Bob had a long and successful career at Nortel (originally Northern Electric), and he loved to spend time with family and friends at his cabin in upstate New York. He will be very sadly missed.
Visitation will be held at Collins Clarke McGillivray White Funeral Home,St. Lambert on Tuesday, July 16th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, July17th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. , followed by a chapel service at 1:00 pm . Thence to the Mount-Royal Cemetery.
