

Wanda Anne Nowacki, affectionately known as Wandzia to those near and dear to her, was born on April 4, 1957. She is the cherished and first born daughter of Genevieve Rajca and Leon Nowacki (deceased in 2020), beloved sister to Francine and Mary Ann (Frank) Ciocia to Jennifer (Jeremy), Michael (Meghan), Alyssa (Laurie), Steven, Tyler (Melissa) and great-Ciocia to Evan, Malcolm, Eva and Lennie. She will also be missed by aunts, cousins and extended family and friends.
A mind attuned to life and all that was around her, Wanda lived life with strength, courage, tenacity, resilience and fragility. Bright and talented, she was strong and fragile, courageous and tenacious, adventurous and curious, determined and loving, living with honesty and truth.
Wanda’s flair and style were portrayed in various artistic areas and endeavors, be they painting and ceramics, creative cooking and writing, or her inherited green thumb, among many others. Accomplished in all these areas, her unique pieces reflected her talent portraying depth in joy , sorrow, life and the gamut of life’s emotions. Wandzia’s light, talent and creativity shine through her various creations and works.
Wanda will be celebrated on Saturday, October 4thwith a funeral mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish Parish, 2550 Gascon Avenue, Montreal Qc.at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be in the Church Hall prior to the mass as of 10:15 AM. A small reception will follow the mass in the Church Hall. Burial will be at a later date.
