It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother on May 31, 2015 where she died peacefully at home. Daughter of Ken and Mary Nathan (nee Hetherington) and elder sibling of Robert (Bud) Nathan and Glennie Dias (deceased). She will be sorely missed by daughters Francess, Donna (Howard) and Susan (Ian). She was married to WW ll Navy Veteran J. George (Buck) Wells (deceased 2014) for 68 years. Loving grandmother to Sean (Tania), Dominique, Jeffrey, Elizabeth, Christopher, Lauren and Alexander. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. After dedicating herself to raising a family, Willma returned to work and completed a 17 year career working for McCarthy Tétrault law firm. Following retirement, she was a loyal volunteer for the Missing Children’s Network for 10 years. Always positive and smiling, Willma will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour and her many jokes and stories. Her passions included her flower garden, her home, her family, and her love for cats. Her greatest accomplishment was the role she played as mother and Nana, committed, faithful and devoted. Special thanks to Dr. Michel, South Shore CLSC, and her dedicated caregivers.
