

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvonne Robinson Longsworth, who left us on January 27th, 2025 at the age of 80. She was embraced by the love of those dearest to her as she peacefully passed.
Born in Belize City, Yvonne was a force of nature full of energy, joy, and an undeniable zest for life. She had a compassionate spirit and a deep love for music - her dancing could light up any room. Whether she was enjoying calypso or soca music it was always a celebration filled with laughter and movement. She embraced life with passion and warmth. She had an eye for style and always took great pride in her appearance, carrying herself with grace, confidence and dignity. She enjoyed shopping for the perfect outfit and having her picture taken and sharing with her family. She loved to cook, bake and sit down with her loved ones to enjoy, often bringing people together over a great meal.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frederick and Petronella (Staine) Robinson whom she now joins in peace.
She is survived by her husband Douglas Stanley Longsworth, her three daughters, Patricia, Alison and Yolanda Turton and her four cherished grandchildren, Cortney, Hollister III, Saantana Joseph, and Chanelle Vandeville. She is also survived by her dear siblings Edward, Anthony, Elena, Frederick, Petronella (Saldano), Manuella (Perrie) and Patricia (Meggs) Robinson as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
We will all forever cherish her memory and her megawatt smile. Yvonne was a pillar of love and guidance, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A viewing will be held at Collin Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, located at 307 Riverside, Saint-Lambert, QC, J4P1A7 at 11am followed by a service at 2pm-3pm on February 8th, 2025.
Her kindness, laughter, and love will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be a blessing.
