Born in Biehle, MO, May 30, 1917, the son of Hugo and Caroline (Wibbenmeyer) Winschel.
Mr. Winschel was an Army veteran of WWII, where he was awarded 8 bronze stars, and was a retired steel fabricator for Stupp Brothers Bridge and Iron Company before his retirement.
Loving father of Larry and Dennis Winschel; dear grandfather of 3 and great grandfather of 1.
Funeral services from Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. at 9:45 A.M., Friday, September 7, to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 610 W. Ripa, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. Interment with military honors in National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO.
Visitation Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M.
