Alexander Trong Giang, know affectionately as TecLec, passed away on July 29, 2024, in Saint Louis, Missouri, at the age of 59, surrounded by family and friends. Born on July 2nd, 1965, in Vietnam, Alexander emigrated and settled into a life marked by dedication to his family and community.
For many years, Alexander served as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service at the Ballwin, Missouri branch, where his diligence and friendly demeanor were well-known. Beyond his professional life, he was deeply passionate about travel and cycling, and he cherished his time as a drummer in a band with his brother, sharing their music and joy.
Alexander's personality was a beacon of optimism and humor. Known for his never-ending supply of jokes, he had an exceptional ability to lighten any room he entered. He was not only a great drummer but an even more remarkable son, brother, and friend. Above all, he was a dedicated family man.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Patricia Huynh; sons, Nicholas and Nathaniel Giang; and daughter, Alexandria Giang.
Visitation services will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd and 4th, from 3 PM to 7 PM, followed by the burial on Monday, August 5th at 9:30 AM. All services will take place at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, located at 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, MO 63125, which is assisting the family during this time.
Alexander's legacy of joy, dedication, and love will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
