Mom I'm not sure what to say but have so much to say at the same time.. I miss you. I wish I had expressed more that I am thankful for you. You always had my back, when I was up to some trouble during my teen years. I'm sorry I didn't realize it earlier in life. 

I thought we had more time, but then again it would have never been enough anyway. I do really feel like a piece of me is gone, and it's odd but with you here it felt like dad was still here in a way, now it feels like he came to get you and you are both gone. I hope you are at peace now, somewhere with dad having some pizza and ice cream for dessert.  I will carry your memory with me forever!

There isn't  a childhood memory of mine that doesn't include Aunt Betty, from Friday nights at our house playin cards, being loud, everyone including us kids belly laughin all evening until we convinced them to let me go home with y'all where I literally spent all weekend. Goin to the cabin and being scared of the outhouse. I literally just remember Aunt Betty and uncle Mike always bein there for me and loving me like their own. This isn't goodbye it's just see ya later on!! ( I feel like my mom, uncle Mike, aunt Betty, aunt barb, grandma and grandpa bowe are all sittin around belly laughin and watchin over all of us) 

My oldest sister Betty you will be missed. 
Your smile will be remembered! 

Betty you brought happiness when you called me at 10 pm to talk to  me and Don.  

The funniness thing you said to me was when you wished me and Don Merry Christmas in October.

We used to love playing Yahtzee and you always won.

The other thing you loved was to put puzzles together.

You're now in heaven with Mike, Jack, Daddy, Harley and so many others!

One of my favorite memories of Betty is the wonderful blankets she made for me and my little brother growing up, even though we weren’t her grandkids. I still have and use all of them. Betty will be dearly missed. 

Oh Grandma, I’m going to miss you so much. I know you’ll always be with me like grandpa has always been. You are a piece of me that I’ll never forget and always cherish. There’s so many memories that we’ve created together, from the moment I met you till the last good day we had together. 

I will never forget the simple things like riding in the car with you to go to errands, learning how to bake, playing outside and being yelled at for going in and out, every Christmas, to  graduating and having you by my side, having my daughters and you meeting them, and me being there for you during the times you were struggling but still managed to have a smile. 

I will miss those simple moments with you but you will always be with me. Thank you for being the best grandma ever.  It feels like a new chapter now, but you’re at peace. I love you. 



I can't say enough about you Betty, I will start with thanking you. Thank you for raising such a kind and loving son. Thank you for my best friend and soul mate who is completely lost with out you. We have had some great memories and it was a honor to be able to care for you these last  7 months. I have so many great memories you definitely had a great sense of humor. And thank you for being such a fantastic mother in law to me. You were basically a mom to me! Thank you for that. I also want to say thank you for loving my kids with all your being.. you were a fantastic grandma and left a huge impression on both of the girls. Ellie misses you so much, she is completely lost without you. I love you and miss you so much! I am truly heartbroken.

I could say so much about Betty. Mike and Betty took me in when my house burned down and I had nowhere else to go. She let me live in her spare room and said I could paint it any color I wanted! She is laughing here because she did not think I would go for dark purple. She taught me this day about adding Vaseline to the trim so you could wipe it right off if you got paint on it. She made the absolute best ham and au gratin potato casserole. She helped me get a job with her and drove so incredibly slow that she had specific spots to pull over to let the parade of cars behind us pass.  We also had to leave 2 hours early every single morning. When I say she drove slow I am not exaggerating, Mom drove so slow. She was so loving and funny.  She always treated me like family as well as my kids. She made us all crochet blankets that we will treasure forever. I regret not having her teach us, girls, to crochet, because she was amazing at it. We love you Betty and we will miss you so incredibly much at Thanksgiving and cookie baking and all the fun stuff we have done. You have given us amazing memories and thank you for giving me my best friend. ♥

I will never forget your laugh Aunt Betty.  You could always laugh at something :)  I will be forever grateful that God gave you my cousin, sister, and best friend...Christine.  We will always love you and will never forget you.
