Billy David Dickens Jr

He was the caring son of Anna Marie Dickens (nee Mueller) and the late Billy D Dickens Sr. Billy was the loving father to: Billy D. Dickens III and his wife Kimberly Dickens and Melissa A. Baumgartner and her husband Ryan Baumgartner. He was the adoring grandfather to: Billy D. Dickens IV, Jillian D Dickens, Gwyneth (Winnie) D. Dickens and Thomas J. Baumgartner. Billy was brother to Michael Dickens and the late Sharon Brinson, and brother-in-law to Pat Brinson. He was the uncle of Robert Fancher, Jessica Dyer and Michael Dickens. He was the great uncle to Leo Fancher.

Known as “Billy the Barber”, he had a long career in barbering namely at the Varsity Barbershop in Kirkwood and later at Des Peres Barber Shop. He loved movies and was a collector of many things. He enjoyed the company of his two precious cats, Midnight and Mally Moo, however his greatest joy was being a grandfather to four beautiful children ranging in ages from 18 months to 7 years old.

A visitation for Billy will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel,1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125. The funeral service will be at 11:30 am on Friday, January 18, 2019, in the funeral home chapel. The graveside service will follow the funeral, in Resurrection Cemetery.
