Dutch was the beloved husband of the late Becky Guidici (nee' Dovet) for 44 years; dear father of Pam (Jeff) Struckhoff and Charles "little Dutch" (Jen) Guidici; loving Papa of Zachary, Jackie, Jeffrey, Trevor, Libby, Kama, and Drew; dear brother of the late Antonia (Joseph) Piskulic; preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary "Toddy" (nee Marnati) Guidici; loving uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and a friend to many.
Dutch proudly served his country in the United States Army and appreciated the opportunity it afforded him to see the world. Dutch was a St. Louis City Fireman for 30 years. He was very active in scouting, hunting, and fishing, and loved to go camping with his entire family. He was very proud of his Italian heritage and always enjoyed having to explain the nickname, "Dutch". He was a member of Saint Ambrose Catholic Church for his entire life.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 6 from 4-8 pm at Calcaterra Funeral Home 5140 Daggett Avenue 63110. A second visitation will be from 9-9:50 am before Mass the following morning. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 7 at 10 am at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Avenue 63110. Private Rite of Committal with Full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dutch's memory to The Sick and Elderly Program of The Hill would be greatly appreciated.
