Very sadden of the news about Dave "Walter" He was one of my greatest influences. The smartest, organized and detailed person I was blessed to be trained by. The Dave Robertson way will always be a part of me. As he would say, if you're going to do something do it right. I still say some of his quotes at the office jokingly "Slow Down, don't hit all the buttons and of course operator error" the trip to the lake, that was when you really got to see the teddy bear side of him. Thank you, Dave for being exactly who you wanted to be. 
  I will miss you dearly.

Pam Hauck and John Purdy  are saddened to hear about Dave's passing.  He was a boisterously funny and a great partner to you Diana.  We are sending healing and prayers for you and your family.

I’ve known Dave for a long time and at first I didn’t know just how to take him.  But being around Dave and Diana almost weekly , I’ve come to know him as a good-hearted and generous guy who loved his country and show-tunes music.  Dave, you will be missed. Rest in peace.

Very sorry about Dave.  He was always a hard worker for SCI, and he was a great mentor to me.   He was always particular and detailed about his work, and he gave me a custom T-Shirt that said:  You graduated The Dave Robertson Academy as a cute and fun gesture.  Dave, Rest in Peace Buddy!

I will always remember getting to meet David at the wedding. We had such a wonderful time and I cherished welcoming new family. Please know that during this time of grief, You are not alone. David will always be a part of your life and his memory will live on. Sending you love.

When I was a kid, David always had some silly joke or pun or magic trick to show me. He always made an effort to connect. He was loud and outgoing and funny. As an adult I grew to appreciate and understand his heart for service. Over this past couple of years we traded a number of emails about our shared struggles. It started  when I broke my shoulder. We commiserated about our shared pain. And then the cancer. We talked surgeries and treatments. It brought me so much comfort. When you find someone who can speak about your cancer journey with you it means so much. David was one of those people for me. Just by sharing our stories I felt less alone. I'm so sad I didn't get to see him one last time. Please know how special he was to me. And that I will miss him.

Diana, I have known my brother for every day of his life on earth. I can truly say that in all his days of his life  he did not receive a better gift from anyone than the gift God  gave him of your presence and love  in his life. 

I am grieving the loss of my brother but asking God to provide all you need to walk the next steps in your life.
