Born on December 6, 1991, in St. Louis, Missouri, Ellen unexpectedly departed this life on September 15, 2025, at the age of 33, following complications from cancer. Her journey, though far too brief, was marked by love, resilience, and her luminous and fabulous macabre sense of humor.
She is survived by her beloved spouse, Charlie Murphy; her parents, Lorrinda M. and Christopher Evans; her in-laws, Christina and Robert Murphy; and many loving family members and friends.
Ellen was predeceased by her biological father, Perry Lee Pettus, and her grandmother, Mary M. Simon.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Rd, St. Ann, MO 63074. Ellen will be laid to rest in a private inurnment at Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Ellen will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her radiance, her laughter, and the strength that made her unforgettable.
