Florence K. Jacobs

Florence K. Jacobs, born in St. Louis, Missouri on 12/26/1929 to Lester Nichting and Rose Leible Nichting. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her stepmother, Emma Nichting, her husband of 59 years, Ronald, in 2009 and her sister, and Rita Walsh in 2021. She had 6 children: Janette Hancock (Steve), Mike Jacobs (Karen), Tom Jacobs (Karen), Diane Pickens (late Carl Pickens), Greg Jacobs (Annette), and Steve Jacobs (Renea). Grandchildren: Jeff, Matt, John, Michelle(Justin), Kristine(Kyle), Ashley(Jay), Becca(Chris), Amanda, Brett, Nick, Justin(Kyley), Ethan, Dauson, Brendan(Merissa). Great grandchildren: Cameron, Melissa, Cayden, Tyler, Kyla, Asher, Layne, Owen, Maia, Addison, Jackson, Christian, Liam, Evan, Brooks, Riley, Maggie, Isla, Kolby, and Olive.

Florence was a prayer warrior and had a very strong faith in God. She was the life of the party wherever she went. She loved to travel, paint pictures, and spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at St. Martin of Tours, 610 W Ripa Ave, St. Louis, MO 63125, US, on May 27, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.

Committal Service will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery and Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
