Gary is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Velma "Vel"Marie Kraemer; daughters Terrie Lynne (Steven) Kocisak; and Kim Marie (Scott) Romay; brothers Gene Kraemer, Michael Kraemer and David Kraemer; grandchildren Matthew Wayne Kocisak, Nicholas Anthony Kocisak, Drake Logan (Kristian) Findley, Monica Lynne Romay, Michael Scott Romay and great granddaughter Peyton Claire Findley.
Gary was preceded in death by; father Hugo Jacob Kraemer and mother Viola Kraemer; brother Richard Paul, sister Jan Reisinger.
First and foremost, Gary was a family man. He dearly loved and adored "Vel". He provided for his family, by working at Nordyne (previously Intertherm) 35 years and managing his money wisely. Gary enjoyed gardening (vegetables), target shooting, fishing, photography, cooking, watching M*A*S*H, listening to Josh Turner, helping, and most of all, spending time with his family.
He was a member of the Sanctuary Fellowship Baptist Church and was baptized in the name of Jesus by Pastor Owen Taylor on October 4th, 2015. Praise God! He will be dearly missed by those who loved him so much.
A visitation for Gary will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. The funeral service will follow at 12:15 PM, in the funeral home chapel. The interment will be on the grounds of Mount Hope Cemetery.
