Gene was a great friend to everyone. He worked many great years at Southwestern Bell and was very involved with the Pioneers Volunteer Organization. Gene was instrumental in getting our Employee Store (The Pioneer Shoppe) started back in November/December, 1986, when the New Southwestern Bell HQ Building was completed. He started the operation from the ground up buying merchandise and finding volunteers to work from 9-3, M-F. He managed the store for a few years but continued to volunteer in the Shoppe for many years after he retired. The Pioneer Shoppe is still around today some 24 years later thanks to Gene and others vision here in St. Louis. Gene is in a much better place but will be sorely missed by all. The Loseto family is in my family and the Southwestern Bell family thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Rest assured that GOD will look over Gene and the rest of your family in the days ahead. GOD Bless!

I have many fond memories of Gene at SWBT.  We first were associated in the OCS Engineering organization and later worked together in Executive Communications.  Gene was a very dedicated worker and there was no better representative of the Pioneers than Gene.  Following retirement, it was always a joy to see Gene at the Pioneer golf outings.  Gene will be missed by his many SWBT friends.

Gene and I had lunch together many times over the years when he visited the Toll Building at 2654 Olive St.for Southwestern Bell.We talked about everything and solved nothing of the worlds problems.Gene was a good friend and I was always glad to see him.Sorry to hear of his passing.May he now rest in peace with his Lord and Savior for all eternity.

Our deepest condolences to the Loseto family.  Angel & I share many memories with Gene from our times together with the Credit Union.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Joan and Family,  I am so very sorry to hear of Gene's passing; even though we know it is coming, it is still overwhelming.  We have known each other for most of our married lives and our children have grown up together.  We have shared many memories.  Even though we do not see one another a lot, you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I AM HERE FOR YOU!!
