He was born on March 11, 1977 in Wichita, KS to Gregory L. Adams, Sr. and Mary L. Britton.
Greg graduated from Parkway South High School in Manchester, MO. He was employed at Panera Bread Company in St. Peters, MO.
He wrote music, laid tracks, enjoyed singing as a member of the group, First Impression,and in the First Baptist Church of Ballwin choir where his faith in God was nurtured.
He played a variety of instruments over the years including violin, saxophone and piano.
He took pride in the accomplishments of his son and daughter as they are two of the most loving, compassionate, smart, and talented young adults that you will ever meet.
Surviving family members include ex-wife and friend, Corina Adams; daughter, LayLa Adams (Jazz Hale); and son, J’lohn Adams; father, Gregory Adams, Sr.; mother, Mary Britton; stepfather, Sherman Britton; stepmother, Charlotte Adams; sister, Laticia Adams; granddaughters, Everleigh and Eliana Hale; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Gregory’s greatest attributes are his warmth and kindness. His infectious smile was endearing to everyone who met him, and he never left anywhere without making a friend.

The visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.
The funeral service will follow beginning at 12:00 p.m. also at Hoffmeister South County Chapel with Reverend Leonard C. White officiating.
Burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125 following the service.
