Jackie passed away Thursday in her home in Overland Park, Kansas surrounded by her family and close friends after a courageous fight with Metastatic Breast Cancer at the age of 61. She is the daughter of the late Sam and late Bess Fiszel both Holocaust Survivors; Loving mother of Benjamin Fiszel who was the light of her life; dear loving sister and sister-in-law of Mimi Fiszel and Rosemary (Steve) Nochlin; dear aunt of Aaron, Brian (Melissa) and Erica (Dan); dear great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Jackie was a dedicated teacher who touched the lives of many children over the years. She was a trusted friend and colleague who will be missed dearly.
Her Camp Sabra family will always have wonderful memories of her.
