Born April 14, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to Alfred Vincenzo Mucci and Isabella Marie Mucci (nee Romano); Beloved mother of Deborah Ann (Charles) VanGronigen of Destin, Florida and Kathryn Ann (Robert) Patterson of Springfield, Missouri.; loving grandmother of Christopher VanGronigen of Silver Spring, Maryland, Bryan VanGronigen of Charlottesville, Virginia, Lauren (Daniel) Ryan of Columbia, Missouri, Nicole Jenkins of Springfield, Missouri and Emily Patterson of Springfield, Missouri.
Jacqueline graduated from Hadley Technical High School in June 1951; operator at Bell Telephone; gym teacher at St. George School; cafeteria worker at Bayless High School; prep cook at Grassi’s Italian Restaurant; sandwich creator at Southwest Market; deli worker at Shop ‘n Save; retired and then became a hostess at Shop ‘n Save; volunteer at the YMCA; and a prospective/new resident ambassador at the Montclair Senior Living Community.
Jacqueline was a longtime parishioner at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri and was married November 1, 1958 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in St. Louis on the Hill and divorced in 1973.
She was a member of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 655, St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church, Red Hat Society, Camp Chippewa and the YMCA.
Jacqueline was a proud and committed mother and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her brother, Angelo J. Mucci who passed away on September 7, 2015. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
