Redington, James C., M.D. , on March 21, 2015, at age 86 at St. Mary’s Heath Center where he had been on staff for more than 50 years, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Estelle Marie (nee Kenny) and the treasured father of Kathleen, M.D. (Philip Jarymiszyn), Ann (Ed) Imgrund, Patricia (Randy Mariani), James C., Jr., M.D., Nancy (Al) Vigland, Barbara, and Colleen (Randy Scott, D.D.S.). He is also survived by ten devoted grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and was the dear brother of the late Margaret (Jerome, M.D.) L’Ecuyer of St. Louis, Priscilla (James M.D.) Sands of Alburquerque, NM, Vincent, M.D. of St. Louis, and William (Pepita) of Gibralter. He was also a cherished brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, doctor and friend of many, whose warmth, enthusiasm and guidance will be much missed.
Services: Funeral Mass 11 a.m., Thursday, March 26, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7230 Dale Ave., 63117.
Visitation 1p.m.- 9p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Kriegshauser Mortuary West, 9450 Olive Blvd.
Memorial donations are welcomed to St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church or Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America.
