Janet Eleanor Rothman

Janet Eleanor Rothman (nee Ahlemeyer), passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024 at the age of 93. Cherished and beloved wife of the late Arthur Arnold Rothman; Cherished and loving Mother of Scott Phillip (Laura) Rothman, Mark Charles (Lynda) Rothman, Lisa Rebecca Rothman-Duke, and the late Stephen Kent Rothman; Cherished and loving Grandmother of Rebecca Eleanor Rothman, Maxwell Stephen Rothman, Davis Kent Rothman, Grant Charles Rothman, Benjamin Stephen Duke and Josephine Kate Duke, loving cousin, and friend to many, who will be greatly missed.

Janet was a fiercely strong and highly intelligent woman who consistently sought wisdom, understanding, and strength through her love for God, with her whole heart and soul. She instilled her deeply grounded values and character as a devoted and committed wife, mother, and grandmother, creating a lasting legacy that will continue to resonate within her friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Parkway United Church of Christ 2841 N Ballas Rd, St. Louis, MO 63131. The family will greet guests and attendees from 10 AM until 11AM, followed by the memorial service at 11 AM. Graveside service afterwards will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, 1293 St. Cyr Rd, St. Louis, MO 63137.
