Jesse K. Jonan, 62, of Richmond Heights, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at a local hospital. He was born January 5, 1963, in Jakarta, Indonesia, to the late Edwin Jonan and the late Erlien Jonan.
Jesse had a distinguished career as a psychiatric nurse, working on the inpatient ward for several years at Barnes-Jewish Hospital before going on to earn his master’s degree at Webster University. He also spent time teaching at Barnes-Jewish College of Nursing the last few years before retiring in 2021. He loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. He was a foodie, ever in search of a good new restaurant. He recently became a dog dad for the first time and will be missed terribly by Milo.
He is survived by his sister, Ingrid Anderson; aunt, Annette Tan; cousins, David Tan and Amy Tan; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved husband, Bob Finot; parents, Edwin and Erlien Jonan; and brother, Aaron Jonan.
Funeral service will be held on December 12, 2025, at 12:30 PM, Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel, 9450 Olive Blvd, St. Louis. Interment to follow at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, 740 N. Mason Rd, St. Louis.
