John L. Stephenson "Jack" passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on July 23, 1938. He was a resident of Saint Louis, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Lawrence and Mary (nee: Emly) Stephenson, and his sister Martha Jean Turner. Jack is survived by: his loving wife of 63 years Beverly Joy (nee: Bell); his children: Sandy Rogers (Mike), John Stephenson; his grandchildren: Amy Roth (Steven), Steve Rogers (Taylor), Andrea Rogers; his great granddaughter Avery Rogers, with a great grandchild to arrive in February.
Jack proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, with his military career spanning over 20 years. He was actively involved in MOAA (Military Officers Association of America). He enjoyed subsequent careers with AT&T, and as a Realtor with Caldwell Gundaker. Jack was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Parkway Baptist Church in Creve Coeur, MO. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his many church friends. In his younger years he enjoyed golfing, and in his later years the family played a lot of UNO and Mexican Train Dominoes.
